ROBOTS, DRONE, CHESS, CHEMICAL DEMOS AND A LOT MORE IN KID’S KINGDOM OF PLANO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
Linda Adler, Vice-President and Publicity Chair of Plano International Festival, shares some exciting news about STEM Program at 15th Festival:
The 15th Annual Plano International Festival promises to be the best yet, and the STEAM area is no exception.
With a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education, this area of the Festival engages guests with hands-on activities and a variety of very cool demonstrations!
Perot Museum of Nature and Science will be on site with their tech truck, showing off some awesome hands-on activities.
Plano Public Library returns to the Festival this year with their mobile unit, with lots of fun surprises in store.
Mad Science of DFW will be shaking things up with cool chemistry demos.
Festival goers can challenge UTDs Chess club to a game, fly a drone with iCode, drive a robot, play math games, and much more!
Come by and meet Robokind’s Milo, a specially designed robot who is helping kids with Autism.
And that’s just the beginning! We are delighted to have an incredible list of STEAM partners celebrating our Anniversary with us this year!
There is truly something for everyone at the Festival, and the STEAM activities are sure-fire favorites.
